Baby, it’s cold outside! {windy too}

First of all…kudos to this fabulous family for braving the elements with me yesterday! We had high winds and temps in the 40’s to contend with! But looking at their fabulous photos, you would never know! They were SO much fun and so easy to work with. And even though the weather wasn’t amazing, the fall colors certainly were! Thanks again guys for a fantastic session….enjoy your sneak peek…

K Family sneak peek…

Now for the rest of the 3 year old photos and some family shots as well. This little boy was, hands down, the friendliest little boy I have ever met! When they arrived to this outdoor shoot, he greeted me running with open arms and a big hug! Then he held my hand as we walked….so sweet!!! And he was just so excited to get his pictures taken. He had a lot of fun…as did I! As I said in my previous post…you guys were such a joy to work with…thanks again and enjoy!

snug as a bug in a rug {or a pea in a pod}

I had such a fantastic shoot yesterday! Well, 2 shoots actually. I got to work with the sweetest little family! I did sessions for their (almost) 4 week old son and their 3 year old son. First, I’m going to post some sneak peeks of the 4 weeker. You would never guess he was already 4 weeks…he was so snuggly and sleepy! He was just perfection to work with! I got to use some new cozy baby wraps, which he just loved! Mom & Dad, hope you enjoy your first sneak peek…the second will be coming later today or tomorrow…

Thanks again guys!

L Family sneak peek…

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest family of four! From the moment I walked in the door, their 4 year old son was so psyched about getting his pictures taken! You know it’s going to be a good time when that happens :) We took a few at home, then more at another location and they were so cooperative with whatever I wanted to do…couldn’t ask for better! We had a lot of fun with their adorable {almost} 1 year old daughter…from putting her in her mother’s hand-made dress from when she was a baby to a tutu and vintage telephone! Loved it!! Thanks again you guys, hope you enjoy your photos…

my little angel girl…

Well here is a subject you won’t often see…my 2 year old daughter! She used to be my muse and main photography subject, but about 9 months ago she decided she no longer wanted any part of it. People don’t believe me when I say she HATES my camera most of the time, lol. She says “Mamma put it away!” Well, I’ve left her alone for a few months now, but mamma needs some pictures!! So we went in the backyard to play yesterday afternoon and I casually brought my camera along. I also brought (cough, cough) the infamous red toddler chair, as she normally loves it. But she wasn’t too into it. I did manage to get some very cute shots though and I plan to try again soon. And just a disclaimer…I didn’t force her into the dress or shoes for the photos…she chose that outfit to wear all day and the ruby slippers are her everyday shoes at the moment, lol…
