Exciting news + Gift Cards!

Hello all! This is more of an informational post. Last weekend I had the pleasure of participating in a local vendor fair (which I didn’t find the time to post about) and I had the best time! I was selling gift cards, giving away gift cards, coupons and I met a lot of new people! You missed it? No problem! I’m also participating in a wonderful event on Black Friday and Saturday! The Simply Everything Boutique! This is going to be HUGE! The Boutique is made up of 40 or so local small businesses just like myself! (support your community…buy local!) Just to name a few of some of the faces you’ll see besides me…Lia Sophia jewelry, Stampin’ Up, Usborne Books, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Thirty One, Scentsy, Silpada jewelry, Tupperware, Gold Canyon candles, Tastefully Simple and many, many more! We’ll be located in the Grand Prairie Mall, occupying the space where Bombay/Bombay Kids used to be. You can shop from 8am - 4pm both Friday & Saturday. And just another perk the boutique has to offer…Gift Wrapping! That’s right, we’ll be providing gift wrapping by donation to benefit the local chapter of Teen Challenge. It should be a great time and I hope to see you all there!

Looking for the perfect gift for someone who has everything? As I mentioned before, I’ll be selling Gift Cards! Who wouldn’t love the gift of photography! They’re not only perfect for Christmas, they’re a wonderful gift idea for the expectant mom, a first birthday party, engagements and weddings! They’re available in increments of $50. I’m also giving away two $50 Gift Cards and coupons as well. I have a very large, beautiful display that you can’t miss….so please stop by and say hello!

And here are a few detail shots from my table last weekend. I have some fantastic products on display, so come on out and take a look…

Oh and I almost forgot! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’ll be pretty busy the next 4 or 5 days or so, so I’ll resume answering e-mails and returning phone calls on Monday!

brothers + family {part two}

Here is the continuation of this dear family’s shoot! We’ve battled nasty weather, runny noses and colds….but we were finally able to catch a wonderful break in the weather! Yesterday was in the mid - upper 40’s and it was perfect! (in the sun anyway) Who would have thought we’d be praying for 40 degree weather? Anyway, we had a fun time outside and got some nice shots to top it off…

Thanks for hanging in there guys!

Amanda :)

Aren’t his blue eyes amazing? I think my camera is in *love*

brothers {part one}

Here are a few pics from a short session I had yesterday with a really fun family! Unfortunately, it’s now time to start coming inside for photos, b/c the weather is so nasty :( They had a gorgeous house though! But they really have their hearts set on some awesome outdoor family shots, so we’re going to give this weekend a try, in what very well may be my last outdoor session of the year. (that’s why the part one) These two boys are just gorgeous and have the funniest little personalities! Here a just a few snaps for you guys to view. I’ll see ya this weekend…

loved baby…

Here is a sneak peek for the W family, who are just enamored with their sweet little first born son! He is so loved and it shows! He slept a little while for us, but mostly he just wanted to be awake and looking around. He was the most alert, yet content 2 week old I’ve ever seen! He’s so curious, he was even noticing his hands…it was so cute! Thanks guys for letting me tear up your beautiful living room for these pics, hope you like them! And since this little guy is on my 1 year plan, we’ll be seeing him every 3 months….yeah, can’t wait!!

M Family sneak peek…

Here are some images from a family session over the weekend. They were by far, the tallest family I have ever photographed! lol Their two kids were 8 and 3, although you would have never guessed. Plus, the 3 year old told me he was 7 :) Anyway, we had a very productive session, utilizing 4 different locations all over town! It was a blast! You guys were so easy and up for anything I threw at you! There are so many good shots, I had a really hard time choosing your peeks. So I hope you enjoy them…

Thanks again!

B Family sneak peek…

Here’s a quick peek at some shots from a family session I had yesterday. The weather was gorgeous, the trees were gorgeous…a far cry from last weekend! They have the most adorable kids…sisters, ages 4 months and {almost} 6 years old. The baby just adores her big sister! You can just tell they’ll be best friends some day. Thanks again guys for a wonderful shoot and for traveling from out of town! Happy Birthday E!

Happy Halloween!

Here is a fun Halloween post. My little 2 year old was a tap dancer this year. She loves to tap around the house in her “tappin’ shoes” and she loves to wear her “wobbly whoopsy” (her tutu, Doodlebop’s fans will understand this reference, lol). So I went with it and put her costume together around those. Look auntie kira…she’s wearing your tutu!! :) I can’t believe how grown up she looks this year! We had a really fun day. This morning we went to the Courthouse in downtown Peoria to see a performance of “Thriller” by the Peoria Ballet Co. It was a lot of fun! She was pretty much terrified of the zombie dancers, calling them “yucky,” but on the way home she said she liked it :) Then tonight we grabbed some quick pics of her in her full costume before she could yank any of it off. She and Daddy had lots of fun goofing off. She has a new “show me your teeth” face, which looks more like a scary monster face…but hey, it’s Halloween…it works. Then we headed out for trick-or-treating. She loved it! She got lots of suckers, her favorite. There’s going to be a lot of blog activity this weekend, as I have 4 shoots in the next 3 days! That’s a lot of sneak peeks! Without further ado, my little ghoul…

“Show me your teeth!!”

And just to compare to last year…here’s my little ‘07 skunk…
