Mr. T + Family sneak peek {final session of ‘08}

Here are some adorable shots from my last session of the year! Which is kind of bittersweet. It’s a little sad to be wrapping up 2008, but also very exciting to see what comes of 2009! But I couldn’t have ended my first year in business on a better note! These guys were SO fun! We broke out my furry blanket, BabyLegs and even G Diapers! They were open to absolutely anything I wanted to try and mom even had some fantastic ideas of her own. Little Mr. Binks (as they call him) is 4 months old and I just LOVE that age! They’re all smiles until they can’t smile anymore and then they pass out…so cute! You guys were an absolute joy to work with and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek…

Happy Holidays everyone!

Well I’m finally *almost* done! The mother load of print orders arrived just before the ice storm, so I spent that time putting them together. They’re all delivered but one…all the galleries are up…orders completed. Now I’m just “on call” for a homebirth I’m going to be shooting (who could go any day) and other than that, I’ll be taking a little vaca! I have some design projects I’ll be working on the week after Christmas, but otherwise I’ll be back in ‘09! See ya then!

twinkle lights {miss G sneak peek}

Here is a sneak peek from a session I did on Sunday. A fabulous little 2.5 year old girl, one of my daughter’s friends, actually! They were born less than 24 hrs apart :) Anyway, this was a totally new location for me. At mom’s request, we shot in the Conservatory at the Luthy Botanical Gardens. It was SO much fun! This little girl had such a fun time, dancing to Christmas music, looking at all the lit Christmas trees and finding some of the oddest ornaments we had ever seen…like a glittery surfer buy merman!? Anyway, thanks guys for a fun time. Enjoy your sneak peek…

Just an update on the business side of things. I have 6 print orders arriving late this week, just in time for Christmas! I’ll be contacting all of you to set up delivery times or for some of you ‘out of towners’ I’ll be shipping your order to you. I’ll be a packaging fool this weekend! I still have one session left that had to be rescheduled for this Sunday, then it’s vacation for me! I’ll be officially “out of the office” the week of Christmas and the Monday after (that’t my birthday)…

belly sneak peek + website update

Hello all! Just a quick update that my website is up & running again! You’ll probably notice that it now has a slightly new look! Something a little more bright & fresh for winter :) For those with proofing galleries, they’re back up as well! The new shopping cart seems to be working perfectly, but if you run into any issues, do let me know asap! And just a reminder that any orders that you wish to get by Christmas, will need to be submitted to me by this Sunday the 14th! I also want to let everyone know that I’ll be closing up shop for a little Holiday down time starting Monday, 12/15 - Tuesday 12/30. I won’t be scheduling any sessions during that time, but I will still be placing, packaging & delivering LOTS of orders! But enough biz talk and onto the belly pics…

I had a fabulous maternity shoot on Wednesday! It turns out she and I went to the same high school, so we had lots to chat about! In fact, we may have done more talking than shooting, lol. But I still have lots of good shots for you Torrie! She’s expecting twin girls very soon…how exciting is that!? She looks amazing and just glows! It was a pleasure working with you, enjoy your peek…

Thanks!

look, there’s *two* in there :)

Snowed in + family session sneak peek

Well can you believe all this snow? It’s beautiful for sure, but I *wasn’t* quite ready for it, lol. Well, just to catch everyone up, I had an awesome Holiday/weekend! We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year and had a wonderful time! I got to catch up with family & friends that I hadn’t seen in ages. Then I spent Friday & Saturday at the Simply Everything Boutique in the Shoppes at Grand Prairie. I had a wonderful time meeting lots of new people and handing out a ton of information! Thanks again to you faithful blog readers & clients who came out to support me!

So onto a sneak peek! Yesterday, I made my way out into the snow to shoot a beautiful family of four in their home. You have to get very creative when shooting in homes and this family was so ready for everything I threw at them, lol! Thanks again guys for all the moved furniture and ripped paper :) Here are a few of my faves so far from your session….

PS: Am I the only one who thinks Mom looks just like Lisa Kudrow?
