I had a 3 month session with my baby planner yesterday, Mr. B! I can’t believe how much he’s grown! Remember him here? He’s just so grown up already! He’s rolling over, smiling, he loves his hands and is *this* close to giggling He was so happy during his shoot…probably because he got to hang out nakey most of the time, lol. And keeping with the 3-4 month shoot tradition, I got about an hour out of him and then he passed right out! But he couldn’t have dosed off in a cuter spot (you’ll see why when you scroll down). Thanks again guys, I can’t wait to see him in 3 more months!

I just wanted to take a moment and start out the week by thanking each and every one of my amazing clients! In case you didn’t know, this has been my first “official” year in business. I could never have guessed just how great 2008 would have turned out and I couldn’t have done it without all of you! Most of my business has been driven through awesome word-of-mouth and referrals from my clients. And because of them, I’m so excited to say that in 2008 I shot: 21 families, 37 kids, 11 babies, 2 weddings and 2 births! Seriously, how fun is my job? This started out as a part-time gig for me in January and when it got so busy that I couldn’t keep up, I quit my full-time job in September to pursue this full-time. I’m so glad I did. I truly love this and I can’t wait to see what 2009 holds in store. So to showcase each and every one of you, I have put together a little slideshow featuring one or two images from each of the sessions I did in 2008! Enjoy!

Hi all! I just realized that I haven’t posted since before Christmas! I had a very nice little mini-vacation! My family & I survived the ice storm, had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! Since I last wrote I even celebrated my 29th birthday AND got to photograph a birth on the same day! It’s been a great couple of weeks. I just wanted to update you clients who are patiently waiting for your proofing galleries to post…they’ll be up this week! I’m editing you all right now! I’m also placing 3 orders this week, for those of you who have placed orders.
In 2009 news. There’s going to be lots of exciting things happening around these parts! First, I’m going to be holding a “2008 Photo of the Year” contest, here on the blog! This is going to be VERY cool! I will select my favorite images from 2008 sessions and post them here…then you tell all your friends & family to come leave a comment and vote for you! The image with the most votes wins an 11×14 mounted print on an easel! Aren’t you excited!? The contest will launch next Thursday, January 15th and will run through the end of the month. In addition to editing, placing orders and organizing the contest…I’m also busy setting my new 2009 pricing and selecting new products to offer! I’ll be featuring some of the products here in the coming weeks…everything from new albums & books, new mounted prints and some new collections & packages…
Please keep visiting and keep your eyes peeled. I’m now officially doing photo sessions again, so there will be some sneak peeks mixed in here too…
