Hi there! My name is Amanda Aeschliman--I'm so glad you found me! Here's the part where I tell you a little bit about what I do. I'm so excited to say that 2012 marks my fifth year in business (the time has just flown by). If you're looking for relaxed, unposed images of your child or family, you've come to the right place. I don't have a studio, no flashes, no lighting, no backdrops. I work exclusively in natural light and either shoot on-location outdoors or occasionally in my clients' homes. Sessions are incredibly laid back and fun. Kids can just play and be themselves--running through the weeds, slpashing in the fountain, catching bugs. I only shoot babies, kids and families. I feel that having 2 small kids of my own, I can relate well to that age group. I live it everyday. I want clients to just feel at ease and have a lot of fun while I transform those everyday moments into amazing pieces of lifestyle portraiture fit to grace the walls of their homes. It's that simple.

Occasionally I get inquiries wanting to know if I shoot weddings. At this time, I do not photograph weddings. However, if you happen to see me second shooting weddings around town several times a year, that is because occasionally I assist my friend & colleague Nellie Gould (of Nellie Photography)--so if you're looking for someone to perfectly capture your big day, she comes highly recommended by me!

Now here's the part where I tell you a little bit about me personally...I have been married to my amazing husband Dan for 10 years and we have a fabulous little 5 year old daughter and a curious little 2 year old son (that's us to the left). I love our little family so much. We keep quite busy, but we enjoy every chaotic minute...trips to the zoo & museum, lunch at local cafés and of course weekly trips to Target. I've lived in Peoria my whole life and I'm proud to call it home. In my previous professional life, I worked full-time as a graphic designer. I much prefer getting to stay home and watch my children grow up while also letting my creative juices flow.
